The Winter Course on International Law is an internationally renowned event in the academic environment, which aims to stimulate and qualify reflection and debate on the most diverse topics of International Law. Inspired by the Hague Academy of International Law, the Course is a pioneering initiative of CEDIN - Center for Studies in Law and Business - in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Estado de Derecho - Latinoamérica. This initiative aims to insert Brazil in the tradition of the great conferences on International Law held annually throughout the world. Among the topics to be addressed, the international protection of human rights, the international law of the sea, international economic law, the maintenance of peace and international security and international environmental law deserve special attention.

This year, the Winter Course is in its eighteenth edition and counts with the participation of thirty guest professors from leading global universities. Due to the health crisis, the course will be held entirely online, with live streaming. The Winter Course will be 100% in English and the conferences will be held from 18 to 29 July 2022, from 09:00 to 15:30, Brasília time

Registration for the XVIII Winter Course on International Law will be available from 1 June to 29 July 2022. The course will be available on YouTube 30 days after the end, with English subtitles, and participants will receive a 30-hour certificate.
