About The Course

CEDIN's Lato Sensu Postgraduate Program in International Law aims to promote a deep analysis of international legal relations, in order to develop in students a greater capacity to understand the modes of formulation of policies and legal actions of international insertion, enabling future specialists to operate with the normative instruments of International Relations.

Since 2005, its first year, the specialization in International Law has had highly qualified professors, dealing with relevant and current themes, organized in four modules, whose contents are centered on the study of themes of Public and Private International Law.

Mode

Para os alunos da modalidade de ensino presencial, as aulas são divididas entre presenciais e transmissão ao vivo, sendo que os encontros presenciais acontecem nas dependências do CEDIN (com transmissão ao vivo) e os encontros, por transmissão ao vivo.

Para os alunos da modalidade de ensino transmissão ao vivo, as aulas acontecem de maneira online, com transmissão em tempo real (ao vivo), permitindo aos nossos alunos a interação com a turma da modalidade presencial e com os docentes do Curso.

At CEDIN, in addition to a very high quality course and networking with the best professionals in the area, the student has the opportunity to participate in international competitions.

This year, 2022, under the coordination of Professor Isabela Leão, we trained a team of five women for the Day of Crisis Competition, organized by The Hague Academy of International Law and co-organized by The Hague University of Applied Sciences, which took place on April 29 and 30, 2022 in The Hague, Holland.

CEDIN's team came in 3rd place in the Final Plenary of the Competition, where they had to discuss an international treaty before judges of the International Court of Justice and renowned professors in the field, at the Peace Palace.

    Isabela Leão

    She has a law degree from PUC-MG, a specialist in International Law from CEDIN and a master's degree in Public International Law from the University of Groningen (Netherlands). She has worked in relevant international organizations such as the Brazilian Mission to the UN, the International Criminal Court, and the International Court of Justice. She is currently a Technical Advisor on Human Rights for the Under Secretary of Human Rights of Minas Gerais and a volunteer for the NGO Refúgio 343, a humanitarian organization dedicated to the socio-economic reinsertion of refugees and migrants.
