The Faculty CEDIN values the local community and develops extension activities that serve both the internal and external community.

Our social responsibility policy is based on ethical and democratic principles related to community higher education institutions, such as promoting the regional development of the place where it is located, encouraging community participation and recognising the legitimate institutions that represent organised society and the university community.

CEDIN defines as dimensions of its social responsibility policy the training of professionals, the development of research, extension projects, the dissemination of knowledge, and its regional and community vocation in the following areas:
a) commitment to actions of social inclusion and promotion of citizenship;
b) commitment to actions that promote sustainable economic development;
c) defense of cultural memory, artistic production, and cultural heritage.
