The aim of the course is to develop the theoretical and practical aspects of the General Law
of Personal Data Protection and the ANPD guidelines and their interface
with the electoral process, focusing on the October 2022 elections.
Target audience: advisors to candidates, political parties
campaign committees, public servants, elective mandate holders
lawyers, members of the judiciary, the Public Ministry and the Public Defender's Office, and students interested in the theme. Course Structure: The course is structured with the offering of 2 modules: the first (Notes on the General Law of Personal Data Protection) aims to present the fundamentals, guidelines, principles and concepts related to privacy and personal data protection, from the regulation contained in Law no. 13.709/2018; the second (The Application of the LGPD in the Electoral Process) aims to address the intersection points between the LGPD/NPD Guidelines and the electoral legislation, specifically presenting the rules and procedures that must be observed by data processing agents who participate in the electoral process (candidates and candidates, political parties, coalitions and federations, contracted organizations). The content addressed will allow the participant to acquire knowledge about the main guidelines of the LGDP not only in the electoral context, which will contribute to the application of the knowledge acquired in a more comprehensive manner, even subsidizing the resolution of questions of tests and competitions.
